Overview: Starting January 1, 2024, the revised IMO diving safety code will mandate that organizations conducting diving operations from ships have Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) management systems tailored to the unique risks and controls of occupational diving. Ship operators will also need to adapt vessel Safety Management Systems (SMS) to incorporate provisions for conducting safe diving activities.

Anthony Greenwood’s presentation will provide valuable insights into the goal-based rules of the revised safety code and offer guidance on implementing a comprehensive OH&S management system to achieve these goals.
